As a First Line Risk & Control Office (1

RCO) Governance Analyst you’ll work within the bank’s first line of defense (1

LOD) supporting adherence to Bank’s risk management framework. The 1

RCO Business and Reporting Risk Analyst will be responsible for administering, including quality review, the company’s operating procedures program and providing risk reporting and automation solutions for operational reporting, committee submissions, business process enhancement, and ad hoc business requests.

  • Assisting in creating, maintaining and optimizing business processes, and producing accurate, recurring reports and dashboards to track 1

    RCO department and 1

    LOD business performance and developing data visualizations where needed to communicate key metrics and insights effectively.
  • This role will report to the Governance Team Head and assist all Governance team members as needed.

    RCO Governance function responsibilities to ensure the team achieves desired outcomes, deadlines, and success measures that align with strategic direction from the 1

    RCO Department Head and the 1

    RCO Department delivers on the Bank’s mission and strategy.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Data Analytics, Accounting, Computer Information Systems, or related field
  • 3+ years experience in Banking/Financial Services in Audit, Risk Management, Operations Management, or related field
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Advanced experience with data analysis tools and Power BI visualization platform
  • Advanced Microsoft Power Platform expertise including building automated processes
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong aptitude to evaluate roadblocks, problem-solve, identify and present solution options
  • Intermediate Lucid Charts and Visio skills
  • Entry to intermediate level knowledge of applicable banking regulatory and legal rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
  • Data management strategies, and Production management strategies, including managing change control
  • Data Analysis with large complex data sets and data warehouses
  • Business analysis and requirements documentation skills
  • Process and Documents Quality Control / Quality Assurance / Quality Review Scorecards
  • Process mapping and gap analyses to identify process inefficiencies and areas for improvement
  • RCSA, Issue Management, and/or Controls Testing experience
