About the Job
The Senior Billing Analyst role will be responsible for the day-to-day order to cash operations of the company, including invoicing, cash and collections activities. The Senior Billing Analyst will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. The ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail and strives to continuously improve the Company’s quote to cash process across all subsidiaries.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions and systems by performing reconciliation of payments and customer accountsStrengthen and grow relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accountsManage the company finances inbox to answer customer and sales inquiries regarding customer receivables and new customer onboardingAssist in streamlining and improving the accounts receivable process identifying areas of performance improvementGather and verify invoices for appropriate documentation prior to paymentMaintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are clearedPerform daily cash management duties, including the recording of bank deposits, updating and distribution of cash receipt logs, and posting of cash to the accounts receivable sub-ledgerMonitor and collect accounts receivable by contacting clientsPrepare analytical and ratio analysis in relation to A/R for management to gain a better understanding of how collection efforts are progressing and reporting results to managementPerform monthly balance sheet reconciliationsAd hoc reporting and analysis as requiredPosition Requirements:
3+ years-experience in accounts receivable or related rolesUnderstanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeepingSuperb time management and attention to detailAbility to operate and prioritize tasks in a high-volume, tech-oriented environmentProficiency with Microsoft ExcelExperience in Net Suite a plusStrong mathematical skillsExperience in driving process improvementOur Promise to You:
