Position Overview

The Slot Attendant is responsible for monitoring the gaming floor while providing excellent customer service. They make timely transactions and will always portray a professional and positive attitude while following rules and regulations set forth by the company, the department and the Alberta Gaming & Liquor Commission (AGLC). The Slot Attendant shall promote and maintain the highest caliber of customer service, utmost respect and integrity to all customers, fellow slot department team members, and other Casino personnel.

Education

And Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year customer service experience.
  • Cash handling experience (and POS systems)
Knowledge,

Skills And Abilities
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills; strong verbal and written communication skills are required as well as attention to detail
  • Ability to work and thrive in a team oriented environment, and able to function independently
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding area and be familiar with a high-volume, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Must be available for shift-work
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work in a smoking environment
  • Must be comfortable working with computers and possess some knowledge or experience using with basic computer software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, etc)
