We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Counter Sales/Warehouse Representative based out of Calgary, AB location (5329 72 Ave SE Bay #78).

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prompt, professional service to walk-in customers and respond to product inquiries in person, by phone, and by email
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate products, pricing, availability, and alternative solutions
• Process sales transactions, quotes, special orders, and returns accurately while communicating order status, shipment details, and delivery timelines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and repeat customers to support branch sales
• Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments, ensuring products are correctly identified, labeled, and undamaged according to company procedures
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or customer pickup
• Organize and move inventory to designated storage areas to maintain efficient warehouse operations
• Coordinate incoming shipments and report receiving discrepancies to the Purchasing Department
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts
• Assist with scheduled physical inventory counts
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Though not required, preference will be given to individuals with experience working in Industrial Supplies or related environment(s)
• Experience operating warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling tools
• Strong customer service skills with a professional, positive attitude
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Solid problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Honest, dependable, and punctual with a proactive work ethic
• Capable of following written instructions, safety procedures, and documented processes
• Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel), and ERP/order entry systems
• Working knowledge of business math including pricing, measurements, ratios, and basic algebra
