What You’ll Do- Lead the civil/structural discipline on projects of varying size and complexity.
- Ensure the highest quality of deliverables, reviewing and guiding work prepared by other civil/structural team members.
- Collaborate closely with clients and project managers to ensure satisfaction and success.
- Develop calculation methods, documentation standards, and innovative solutions for engineering challenges.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians, sharing your expertise.
- Conduct site visits to gather data and perform analysis.
- Prepare proposals, technical studies, cost estimates, and construction scope packages.
- Deliver all technical responsibilities to meet project objectives and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (minimum). - Credentials:
Registered Professional Engineer with APEGA, able to stamp as Engineer of Record. - Experience:
10+ years in engineering companies, preferably within the industrial, oil, and gas sectors. - Skills:
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, major engineering analysis software, and 2D/3D CAD tools. - Communication:
Strong English verbal and written skills. - Eligibility:
Legally entitled to work in Canada (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work permit).
- Highly organized, able to juggle multiple priorities.
