    This position is based out of Calgary, AB with opportunity for flexible work options. Travel will be required on occasion, including into the US.

    Responsibilities
    • Take leadership and ownership of project initiatives as required.
    • Perform complex calculations and apply standards and specifications correctly without supervision.
    • Review project team engineering and design deliverables. роль>
    • Demonstrate critical data analysis and problem solving skills in meeting project challenges as they arise.
    • Represent the engineering team in client, project management and vendor meetings and communications.
    • Review vendor documents to ensure specifications and data sheet requirements are met.
    • Ensure stakeholder vendor document review engagement and coordinate and resolve stakeholder comments.
    • Assign tasks to parish staff ‑ keep track of work loading, progress and project schedule.
    • Lead mid‑to‑large‑size projects or proposals.
    • Develop and leads design improvement and cost savings initiatives.
    • Apply techniques/technologies to improve processes and business results.
    • Utilize industry and company standards/tools to achieve effective engineering and design.
    • Serve as resource and mentor to less experienced engineers.
    • Lead projects in how to interpret and apply codes and standards.
    • Lead team in identifying and communicating project scope changes through project execution.
    • Produce design changes as needed to stay within budget and schedule.
    • Recognize engineering responsibility for public health, safety and environmental stewardship.
