Technical project engineer delivering on multiple water/wastewater hydraulic and rehabilitation projects.
Planning, modelling, analysis, and design of municipal infrastructure projects.
Assist in mentoring junior staff, providing technical reviews and guidance.
Review water and wastewater design drawings.
Constructability reviews.
QA/QC reviews of junior staff deliverables.
Lead cost estimation and validate project assumptions.
Write and review reports and documentation for accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations.
Project Delivery
Support proposal development with technical input.
Ensure quality control procedures are followed across drawings and reports.
Oversee procurement documents, including specifications and tender coordination.
Provide senior-level contract administration, including review of contractor submittals, progress claims, and interpreting contract documents.
What you must have:
P.Eng. (Professional Engineer) or P.Tech. designation or eligible to register in Alberta
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of years experience designing in municipal water and waste water including water distribution, wastewater collection and stations
Design experience in water and wastewater including rehabilitation works.
Technical design experience, including design coordination internally and externally.
Familiarity with construction contracts, drawings and contract documents, submittals and progress claims.
Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders.
Provide technical excellence and mentorship to junior team members.
