Your Background
We are looking for an Electrical Designer Engineer to be part of our team, specializing in the end-to-end design of industrial motor control panels for 480
VAC, 120
VAC, and 24
VDC systems supporting oil well and production applications. This role takes ownership of technical execution—from schematics and layout to component selection—while actively collaborating across technical teams to support the delivery of practical, high-performance field-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
Create detailed 480
VAC, 120
VAC, 24
VDC Motor Control panel schematics using Auto Cad Electrical and/or E-Plan
Size appropriate heating and cooling solutions
Work with vendors to achieve product customization and quality
Collaborate with the Applications team on product design
Collaborate with the Supply Chain team on component selection to achieve cost and delivery KPIs
Create documentation for wiring, mounting, installation and programming
Skills
End-to-end design of industrial motor control panels (480
VAC, 120
VAC, 24
VDC), including schematics, layout, and thermal considerations
Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN for production-ready control designs
Strong understanding of oil well / production environments and the practical requirements of field-deployed equipment
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and take ownership from concept through release, including component selection and documentation
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (EIT welcome to apply)
1-5 years experience in oil well and field production applications is preferred
Proven ability to excel in demanding technical environments, demonstrated through academic or professional distinction
Hands‑on experience with AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPLAN
Familiarity with oil & gas, well operations, or industrial field environments
Exposure to IIoT, automation, or remote monitoring systems
Requirements
