Overview

Civil Engineer-in-Training or Civil Technologist in our Calgary office. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team active on infrastructure and multi discipline projects, including roads, drainage, storm water management, water mains, sewers, and pump stations, water and wastewater treatment. This position supports a variety of tasks and provides opportunities to develop skills in project delivery, including preparing studies, designs, cost estimates, specifications, contract documents, construction management, and construction inspection.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of municipal infrastructure projects in Alberta, including roads, drainage, stormwater management, water and wastewater systems.
  • Prepare studies, designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Assist with construction management and construction inspection activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop proficient skills across project delivery.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Registered, or eligible for registration as an Engineer-In-Training with APEGA.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Committed team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • AutoCAD skills would be beneficial.
