Join WSP’s Mobility Planning and Advisory team and contribute to transformative transportation planning and engineering projects across Canada. From complete streets and active transportation to transit and Vision Zero initiatives, you’ll help shape safer, more sustainable communities.
As part of WSP’s Transportation Planning group
, you’ll work on a full spectrum of transportation challenges—ranging from Complete Street and Active Transportation/Trails Infrastructure Planning, Functional and Detailed Design, regional and area transportation studies, site-specific transportation assessments, design guidelines, transportation demand management (TDM), transportation modelling, public engagement, road safety improvements, transit planning, parking studies, transportation master plans, and traffic analysis
.
Your Impact
- Collaborate on innovative transportation projects, from data collection and analysis to technical reporting and graphics preparation.
- Apply best practices and creative solutions for multi-modal transportation, transit, and traffic projects.
- Work alongside multidisciplinary teams of engineers, planners, and designers to deliver integrated solutions.
- Prepare technical memos and reports that influence decisions and drive impactful outcomes.
- Engage with clients and communities through meetings and public consultations.
- Grow your expertise in project coordination and management while shaping the future of mobility.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A degree in Transportation Engineering or Transportation Planning
, with a P.Eng. or RPP designation. - 3–10 years of experience in transportation engineering and/or planning.
- Proficiency in traffic operations and site analysis, plus hands‑on experience with tools like Synchro/Sim Traffic, HCS, Sidra, VISSIM, VISTRO, Aimsun
. - Strong technical writing and presentation skills, with advanced Microsoft Office capabilities.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for designing multi‑modal solutions that make a difference.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $89,800 - $118,900
MB & ON: $81,900 - $112,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $81,100 - $107,700
