What role you will play in our team

Join Our Team as a Hydrogeological Engineer and Shape the Future of Sustainable Mining and Water management!

What you will do Site Characterization and Data Collection

The role involves leading comprehensive hydrogeological assessments through detailed field investigations to understand groundwater behavior, aquifer properties, and hydraulic connectivity across the site. You will design and implement groundwater monitoring networks, including the installation and management of piezometers, observation wells, and related instrumentation to track groundwater levels and water chemistry. Using the collected data, you will analyze and interpret hydrogeological, geotechnical, and geochemical information to support site models and inform engineering decisions.

Groundwater Modeling

You will develop and evaluate numerical groundwater flow models to predict groundwater movement rates, groundwater fluxes, and flow pathways under a range of conditions. A key responsibility includes translating field observations and site characterization results into clear and defensible conceptual site models (CSMs). You will assess groundwater‑related risks and uncertainties, while also running scenario analyses to evaluate design alternatives, operational strategies, and long‑term control measures that optimize groundwater management.

Regulatory Compliance and Environmental Protection

You will ensure that all groundwater control strategies and engineered designs align with applicable local, national, and international regulations and industry standards. This includes evaluating potential environmental impacts related to seepage, such as risks to groundwater quality and surrounding ecosystems, and integrating protective measures into project designs to maintain compliance and support responsible resource development.

Monitoring and Adaptive Management

The role includes developing and implementing long‑term groundwater monitoring programs to track system performance over the life of the asset. You will analyze monitoring data, identify deviations from expected behavior, and recommend timely corrective actions when groundwater conditions exceed design thresholds. This adaptive approach ensures continuous improvement and reliable performance of groundwater management systems.

Operations, Maintenance & Surveillance (OMS)

You will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of OMS plans for groundwater management infrastructure. Responsibilities include ensuring continuous surveillance of system integrity, tracking groundwater trends, and identifying potential issues early. Based on surveillance results, you will recommend operational adjustments, maintenance actions, or system upgrades to…
