We are looking for a Technical Writer to work with one of our clients in Calgary for a 1-year contract (ad-hoc work).
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit technical documents including engineering reports, user manuals, technical specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with industry standards and company guidelines.
- Review and revise content for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Proofread documents to ensure they are free of grammatical, typographical, and factual errors.
- Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other technical experts to gather necessary information and ensure the accuracy of documentation.
- Translate complex technical concepts and procedures into easily understandable content for various audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure technical terminology is used appropriately and consistently.
- Ensure all documentation adheres to relevant industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience required
- Experience writing procedures in Oil and Gas or other technical fields
