Position: • Junior Piping Designer

Location
Cornerstone Engineering, 1144 29th Ave NE, Calgary, AB. Canada
Office-based, Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Roles and Responsibilities

Work within the Piping Design group.

Assist in the creation and revision of Plot Plans, PFD’s, P&’s, Piping Plans, Piping Sections, and Isometrics using CAD software, following engineering standards, codes, and project specifications.

Complete basic 3D models using CADWorx Plant and Equipment.

Work closely with design team members to ensure design documents are completed according to deadlines.

Stay updated on CAD software tools, techniques, and best practices for piping drafting, and seek

opportunities for professional development and growth in the field.

Conduct site visits alongside a senior designer to complete as-builts, identify tie-in locations, and gather

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or Process Piping Drafting.

1+ years of piping design experience in the oil and gas or related industry: EPCM experience is an asset.

Experience with AutoCAD and CADWorx.

Experience with MS Office suite of programs used to create reports and documents.
