The Career

The Risk Assessment Specialist position is a full‑time position based in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.

This is a technical lead level position with access to a multi-disciplinary group of professionals. The position requires the development and mentoring of a team in the execution of site and risk assessment programs.

• Proficient in the application of environmental risk assessment modeling tools
• Current knowledge of environmental regulations (Alberta and Federal)
• Strong technical knowledge in hydrogeology and geochemistry
• Proficiency in data analysis, technical reporting, and client communication
• Proven positive record with provincial regulators regarding approved RMPs

You

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering or related discipline
• 7+ years relevant work experience in contaminated site assessment, regulatory guideline adjustment, and risk modeling
• Professional registration in Alberta
• Must have legal authorization to work in Canada without restriction
