The Career
The Risk Assessment Specialist position is a full‑time position based in Calgary or Edmonton, Alberta.
This is a technical lead level position with access to a multi-disciplinary group of professionals. The position requires the development and mentoring of a team in the execution of site and risk assessment programs.
Qualifications- Proficient in the application of environmental risk assessment modeling tools
- Current knowledge of environmental regulations (Alberta and Federal)
- Strong technical knowledge in hydrogeology and geochemistry
- Proficiency in data analysis, technical reporting, and client communication
- Proven positive record with provincial regulators regarding approved RMPs
You
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering or related discipline
- 7+ years relevant work experience in contaminated site assessment, regulatory guideline adjustment, and risk modeling
- Professional registration in Alberta
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada without restriction
