Position Overview

DEG Engineering Inc. is hiring a Delta

V DCS Engineer to deliver vendor-neutral automation solutions for oil & gas MOC and Capital Projects across North America.

• Configure and program Emerson Delta
  
  V systems
• Develop control modules, equipment modules, and batch logic
• Create FDS, Control Narratives, shutdown keys, and test procedures
• Perform FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup support
• Design operator graphics and alarm management strategies
• Troubleshoot Delta
  
  V system hardware and software
• Coordinate with instrumentation, SIS, and networking teams

• Delta
  
  V Explorer system configuration and database management
• Control Studio module and phase configuration
• ISA-88 batch control implementation
• Delta
  
  V operator graphics and display hierarchy
• Alarm configuration and rationalization support
• Controller, server, and network redundancy configuration

• Advanced PID tuning and loop optimization
• Sequential logic, per missives, and interlocks

• OPC UA integration with PLCs and third-party systems
• HART-enabled device configuration
• Ethernet-based industrial network design
• FAT / SAT execution
• On-site commissioning, loop checks, and startup
• As-built documentation and configuration management

• APEGA registration or eligibility
• 3+ years of Delta
  
  V DCS experience
• Knowledge of IEC 61511, ISA standards

Must be able and willing to travel to the United States
