Commissioning & Start Up Lead

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Commissioning Lead with a strong instrumentation and electrical background to support a portfolio of project focused on resolving deficiencies and completing punch list items. The ideal candidate will work independently, troubleshoot, and commission new devices and systems.

• Lead commissioning activities for remaining deficiencies and punch list items.
• Troubleshoot and commission new instrumentation devices, including:
  • Differential pressure devices
  • Capillary sensing lines
  • Temperature and burner measurement systems
  • Salt bath heater and associated instrumentation
  • Flow meters and control valves
• Coordinate with vendors and support systems.
• Interface with operations liaison.
• Ensure proper documentation and upload into project folders using basic checklists. Utilize Adobe or Bluebeam for documentation review and markups.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 5 years in commissioning and start-up.
• Background:
  Electrical instrumentation (CET, Engineering Technologist, or Electrician who has advanced).
• Strong understanding of:
  • Industrial automation (PLC Ladder Logic)
  • Test plans, process flow diagrams, P& (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams)
  • Shutdown keys
• Excellent communication, planning, and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage vendors and liaise effectively with operations.
• Proficiency in MS Suite, Bluebeam, or Adobe.
• Field based oil and gas experience
