Mechanical Engineer:On behalf of our client, Procom is searching for a Mechanical Engineer for a full-time, permanent role. This position is hybrid with 4 days a week in office.

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and development of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) for direct liquid cooling systems. This role oversees the entire product lifecycle—from concept and CAD design to testing, validation, and production release. The ideal candidate has a strong background in thermal and mechanical system design, CAD modeling, and simulation, with a passion for innovation and
continuous improvement.
Mechanical Engineer - Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end mechanical design and development of Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs).Apply expertise in heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and materials engineering to optimize cooling performance.Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless system integration.Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design quality, manufacturing efficiency, and cost reduction.Oversee prototype fabrication, testing, and validation to meet mechanical and thermal performance targets.Develop and maintain detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, and engineering documentation.Conduct computer simulations and analysis to verify performance and reliability.Present design concepts, test results, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Mechanical Engineer - Mandatory
Skills:
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering.Proficiency in CAD tools such as Solid Works or equivalent.Strong knowledge of mass production design, including sheet metal, machining, casting, injection molding, and welded assemblies.Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping, testing, and validation.Understanding of GD&T, statistical tolerance analysis, and design release processes.Knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermal management systems (preferred).Mechanical Engineer – Skills &
Competencies:
Advanced 3D modeling and design documentation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to collaborate across disciplines and external stakeholders.Experience with simulation software and data-driven design validation.Mechanical Engineer – Assignment Length: This is a permanent position.
