Our client is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join their team for a contract role in Calgary, Alberta. This position supports procurement and contracting for complex services and materials within the energy sector, ensuring effective sourcing, negotiation, and supplier performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracting for high-value services (engineering, civil, drilling, consulting, and related areas).
  • Conduct contractor pre-qualifications and manage competitive bidding processes.
  • Develop sourcing strategies, bid lists, and scopes of work with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and issue RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
  • Lead negotiations and finalize contracts, including frame agreements and change orders.
  • Monitor contractor performance, resolve claims, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze market conditions and provide category insights.
  • Prepare procurement reports and supplier evaluations for headquarters.
