This role requires strong technical depth, sound engineering judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, vendors, and clients on complex process industry projects.
Who You Are
• in Electrical Engineering
• 10+ years of EIC experience in Oil & Gas or process industries
• Strong understanding of electrical, instrumentation, and control system packages
• APEGA designation (or eligibility for registration)
What You’ll Do
• Prepare and review Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls engineering documents and packages
• Develop and review datasheets, P&IDs, control system architecture, narratives, I/O lists, logic diagrams, and FAT/SAT procedures
• Provide technical guidance to package managers and junior engineers
• Review project specifications and vendor submissions; respond to customer and vendor technical queries
• Participate in HAZOP and SIL studies to ensure alignment with design and project scope
• Attend technical review meetings with clients and vendors
• Support FATs at vendor facilities as required
• Travel required, including some international
