We are seeking Avionics Technician contractors with hands-on experience working on De Havilland Dash 8 series, Q400, and CL-series (CL-215/415) aircraft. The ideal candidate has a strong background in modifications, troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and inspecting avionics systems on regional and special-mission aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on avionics and electrical systems for Dash 8, Q400, and CL-series aircraft.
  • Conduct installations, modifications, and upgrades of avionics components (e.g., Comm/Nav systems, autopilot, FMS, ADS-B, TCAS, wiring harnesses).
  • Execute work in accordance with wiring diagrams, AMMs, EOs, service bulletins, and schematics
    .
  • Assist with heavy maintenance checks
    , system testing, and functional checks.
  • Maintain strict adherence to Transport Canada standards, OEM procedures, and safety protocols
    .
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • 3–5 years of avionics maintenance experience
    , ideally on Dash 8/Q400 or CL-series aircraft.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, wiring, troubleshooting tools, and avionics test equipment
    .
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, AMMs, and component manuals
    .
  • Experience performing avionics work during heavy checks, line maintenance, and modification projects
    .
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada.
  • Flexibility to work shift work, weekends, and overtime as required.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in team environments.
