As Director of Water & Wastewater Treatment & Facilities – Alberta
, you will lead a portfolio of projects that deliver safe, sustainable water and wastewater solutions across Alberta. You’ll oversee both people leadership and financial performance, guiding teams to deliver technical excellence, strengthen client trust, and achieve outstanding project outcomes.

Your Impact

  • Lead strategic growth
    :
    Build and strengthen client relationships across water markets to advance WSP’s ambitious growth objectives in Alberta.
  • Deliver complex projects
    :
    Oversee planning, design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment facilities.
  • Champion technical excellence
    :
    Act as Project Director on major assignments, ensuring rigorous standards and innovative solutions.
  • Collaborate nationally and globally
    :
    Integrate expertise from WSP’s water teams and global delivery network for holistic solutions.
  • Mentor and inspire
    :
    Develop high-performing, multidisciplinary teams and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

The Skills That Set You Apart

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering, including 7+ years in leadership roles.
  • Eligible for registration as a P.Eng. in Alberta.
  • A track record of growing business and building trusted client relationships in Alberta.
  • Proven ability to manage large, multi-disciplinary projects and portfolios with strong financial acumen.
  • Expertise in water/wastewater treatment systems, conveyance, and infrastructure delivery.
