Administrator – Calgary Christian Secondary School – Vice-Principal
The Palliser School Division invites highly motivated educators, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership to apply for the position of Vice-Principal at Calgary Christian Secondary School. The position will begin on August 21, 2026, or on a mutually agreed date. The successful candidate will be a pedagogical leader who possesses excellent interpersonal skills, a proven record of excellence in teaching, evidence of success in leading and encouraging professional learning and a willingness to be involved in the extracurricular activities of the school.
Administrative duties will include an active role in instructional leadership and all aspects of school leadership.

Job Requirements- Master’s Degree in Education or a related field (or in the process of obtaining one)
- Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
- Exemplary teaching and administrative experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Commitment to establishing positive working relationships with staff, parents, and community partners
- Commitment to establishing partnerships and is knowledgeable about indigenous cultures, traditions and values
- Experience in multi-grade level classrooms
- Willingness to explore innovative approaches to learning
- Commitment to work with both Palliser School Division and Horizon Academy Society to lead the development of transformational approaches to learning
- Student-focused leader, with a proven track record fostering excellence in student learning in an inclusive environment
- Ability to provide effective leadership which fosters innovation, collaboration, respect and trust
- Ability to work in partnership with parents and other stakeholders to support student growth and development
- Strong interpersonal skills
In order to maintain a safe and secure working environment, applicants new to The Palliser School Division must provide:
- Criminal Record Check, including vulnerable sector check from Local Police Service or RCMP detachment
- Social Insurance Number (SIN) card or document issued by Service Canada. SIN card/document must be in current legal name. Name on SIN card/document must match your Government Issued Criminal Record Check
- Government issued - valid driver’s license, valid passport or Nexus card
- Completed Alberta Intervention Check
- Alberta School Employee Benefit Plan (ASEBP) coverage (as per collective agreement)
- A commitment to Christian education and the ability to challenge staff and students to Christian learning and living;
- The belief there is one God, manifest in three persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; - A vibrant Christian faith, demonstrating the leadership of Jesus Christ;
- The ability to make Gospel values an integral part of school life;
- An ability to lead in the establishment and maintenance of a wholesome, spiritual, emotional and professional atmosphere which characterizes the school as a Christian school;
- An ability to provide leadership for the advancement of Christian education by articulating an educational vision to the school staff, to the Society, and to the general Christian community;
