LIBRARIAN Green Dome Islamic School, Calgary

We are currently looking for a School Librarian for Green Dome Islamic School in Calgary, Alberta. If you are a compassionate, self‑motivated team player with a specific interest in education, we encourage you to apply.

This is a part‑time (0.5 FTE) probationary position to commence August 25, 2025. You will work 17.5 hours per week supporting the operations of the School Library.

• Organize, maintain, and distribute learning resources through an automated library management system.
• Assist students and staff in gathering resources and information.
• Assist with supervision and other administrative duties as necessary.

• High school diploma required; post‑secondary certificate or diploma in a related field is preferred.
• Computer literate with effective working skills in Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with a library system is an asset.
• Ability to communicate with students and teachers in a meaningful and professional manner.
• Present yourself as an organized and professional representative of the staff, in person, by telephone, and through correspondence.
• Previous experience working within a fast‑paced, team environment is an asset.
