  • Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order and interpret diagnostic tests as required.
  • Provide patient education and counseling related to disease prevention, lifestyle management, and treatment options.
  • Coordinate care with specialists, allied health professionals, and external healthcare providers as needed.
  • Accurately document patient encounters, medical history, and treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Adhere to all clinic policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements set by governing bodies.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and respectful clinic environment by working closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date medical knowledge and participate in ongoing professional development as required.
Education
  • Medical Degree (MD) is required.
  • Current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) is required.
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program is an asset.
Experience

  • Experience managing an independent patient panel is considered a strong asset.
Skills
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient‑focused approach to care.
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to long‑term practice stability.
  • Strong clinical judgment and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Base Salary
