Family Physician - Private Clinic

Available immediately, you will work with an experienced female practice partner in a 5-physician clinic with a well-established patient panel. The schedule includes 2-3 days in the clinic, sharing ER call duties (5-6 shifts per month), with day shifts on call lasting 6 hours and night shifts 12 hours. Inpatient care is provided both in the hospital and at our Long Term Care facility.

Practice partners are flexible and will work with you to determine the best schedule.

Through UBC Medical School, we teach Family Practice Residents and Medical Students, offering invaluable rural training experiences.

Emergency call for full-time physicians is roughly 1:9, typically involving one 12-hour shift per week and one weekend shift every four weeks. Our ER is modern, well-equipped, and well-supported. GPs also provide hospital and long-term care coverage for inpatients. We receive MOCAP and Rural Emergency Enhancement Funding (REEF).
