Video Producer; Short-Form Content

Role Overview

We’re seeking a Video Producer (Short-Form Content) to own end-to-end video production for founder-led and brand content.

This role is responsible for filming, editing, and delivering high-performing short-form videos optimized for Meta and Tik Tok.

You will work directly with the founder to batch record content weekly and ensure consistent, high-quality output that reinforces Dentist Finder’s brand positioning.

This is not event videography. This is structured, performance-driven short-form production.

Calgary, AB (in-person filming, can edit remotely).

• Film weekly short-form content sessions with the founder (batched recording).
• Set up lighting, framing, and audio for consistent visual identity.
• Edit short-form videos optimized for retention (tight cuts, captions, graphics, etc).
• Format content for Tik Tok, FB/IG Reels, and Shorts.
• Collaborate with the Content & Brand Lead to ensure messaging alignment.
• Maintain organized content library and file management.
• Deliver consistent weekly output (multiple posts per week).

• 3+ years of experience producing short-form social content.
• Strong understanding of retention-focused editing and pacing.
• Experience creating content optimized specifically for Tik Tok/Reels.
• Strong attention to detail in lighting, audio, and framing.
• Must be located in Calgary and available for weekly in-person filming.

• Have worked with a founder or on-camera personality before.
• Have produced content that reached 100k+ views.
• Understand hook-based editing and retention drop-off optimization.
