Who We AreLeague of Innovators is Canada’s youth-first accelerator and charity dedicated to empowering young founders, change makers and future leaders with community, skills and opportunities to build boldly and impactfully. We make entrepreneurship accessible and barrier-free for anyone under 30, no matter where they come from or what they look like.
North House is our physical and cultural hub — a place for meetups, collabs, fireside talks, co‑working and startup‑building energy in Vancouver and beyond.
Role OverviewYou’re the architect of connection, the person who takes ideas and turns them into experiences that energize our community. You’ll lead the planning, execution and evolution of our national events ecosystem, from the Young Entrepreneurs of the Year Awards Conference to regional meetups and North House experiences. All designed to bring young innovators together to learn, celebrate and build.
What You’ll Do- Dream up and own the end‑to‑end experience and delivery of our flagship events (YEY Awards, North House series, community meetups, collabs).
- Build event narratives that reflect our mission — elevating youth voice, community impact and real‑world connection.
- Coordinate logistics, partners, creatives, spaces and community champions who make each event feel distinct and meaningful.
- Lead event promotion, partnerships and audience engagement that grow turnout and deepen community loyalty.
- Show up on the ground with energy, empathy and a bias toward action — solving problems in‑the‑moment without losing the vision.
- A builder at heart with 3+ years in event production, community operations or experiential programming (bonus if in nonprofit/startup/accelerator worlds).
- Strategic AND scrappy — you can draft a plan and make it happen with a team and volunteers.
- A storyteller who sees events as more than gatherings — they’re moments that connect people to purpose.
- Comfortable working across teams and leading with calm decisiveness — especially when things shift.
You’re not running checklists, you’re creating frictionless moments where young founders feel seen, supported and ready to act. You help turn sparks into movements.
Benefits & Compensation- Base salary of $60-70K plus annual bonus
- Flexible Hours + Fully Remote Work
- Generous vacation and flex days
