The General Labourer provides hands‑on manual labour to assist all trades, contractors, project and site personnel as directed.

• Daily miscellaneous cleanup of building and site
• Miscellaneous site organization and moving materials
• Heating and Hoarding
• Dewatering
• Temporary Lighting
• Assist apprentices and carpenters
• General labour for other duties as assigned
• Flagging

The General Labourer is required to work outdoors (subject to weather conditions) and indoors as required. Traveling to job sites is required.

Direction Received From:

• Labour Foreperson

• WHMIS
• CSTS an asset but not required
• Fall Arrest an asset but not required
• Flagging training an asset but not required
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

3 - 6 months to become proficient

• Positive attitude with the ability to relate to all levels of personnel at the job site
• Adaptable and professional approach
• Ability to listen, follow instructions and ask questions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Safety diligent
