We’re looking for a Site Superintendents in the
Commercial/Institutional construction Industry.
Our client is continuing to expand and looking to add a talented Site Superintendent with
school project experience to the team. Our client maintains a supportive and collaborative
Senior management, allowing for opportunities to make a significant impact and contribute ideas throughout the construction process. The Site Superintendent is responsible for the day-to-day operations ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Site Superintendent responsibilities:Collaborate with Project Manager, Project Coordinator and other team membersOversee subcontractors, schedule, quality and safetyContribute to decisions regarding development and implementation of construction methodology as well as designWork with the project team to problem solve on site issueslead and provide guidance to project team membersCommunicate with team and stakeholdersManage all conflict by effectively dealing with issues in a professional mannerAble to proactively seek solutions and escalate issues when neededThe ability to be a pro-active self-starter with the ability to think ahead and plan work accordinglyDemonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental protection on the projectThe successful candidate has:Strong knowledge of construction methods, building code and construction best practicesInstitutional/School project experience is essentialFamiliarity with wok safe procedures, safety regulations, valid first aid ticket an assetCapable of anticipating constructability issues in complex situations and creating solutionsStrong Conflict resolution skillsetHighly Organized individual with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, submittals and specificationsStrong ability to multitask; be proactive; and understand attention to detail and quality controlExcellent communication skillsA Collaborative individualProficiency in Word, Excel and TeamsProcore(or similar) software experience would be an assetCompensation and benefits:The discussed salary range is $110,000 – $150,000, depending on experienceCandidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be consideredComprehensive benefits packageExcellent Bonus StructureCandidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
