Educational Assistant

Bright Path Early Learning & Child Care invites you to apply for the Educational Assistant position. This full‑time contract role is located at the West Henday Center, AB. The pay range is $20.00 – $28.00 per hour and the position offers competitive benefits, including a childcare discount

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist children with varying levels of needs in a learning environment.
  • Plan and implement programming based on each child’s needs, in collaboration with a certified teacher.
  • Communicate effectively and build relationships with children and families.
  • Collaborate with team members to support classroom goals.
  • Prepare Individual Program Plans (IPP), tracking and planning forms, and parent communications.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in childcare or working with children who have diverse learning or developmental delays.
  • Excellent communication and conflict‑resolution skills.
  • Reliable vehicle and driver’s license.
  • Meet provincial requirements for childcare employment.
  • Current Standard First Aid and infant CPR certification.
  • Current immunization and health assessment per local Minister of Health requirements.
