- Manage pricing for clients and prospects, offering spot rates and general quotes
- Negotiate rates and tariffs with vendors to ensure competitive pricing
- Update internal systems like Cargo Wise and the CRM with client and rate information
- Respond promptly to customer rate requests in line with company guidelines
- Collaborate with Business Development and Customer Service teams to identify new opportunities and expand existing client relationships
- Stay up-to-date with market trends to influence pricing strategies that align with company goals
- Support financial decision-making by analyzing performance data and contributing to pricing strategies at both macro and micro levels
- 3+ years of experience in the freight or logistics industry
- Post-secondary education in Business or Marketing (an asset)
- Completion of CIFFA certification or equivalent industry training (preferred)
- Familiarity with Dangerous Goods regulations (an asset)
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors
- Knowledge of basic economic, budgeting, and accounting principles
- Hands‑on, analytical, and collaborative approach to business development and project management
