Key ResponsibilitiesAs the Senior Sales Representative - Oil & Gas Line Pipe and Coating
, you will drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships by managing the full commercial sales cycle for a portfolio of strategic accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Account Management & Business Development:
- Own and manage a defined portfolio of accounts, expanding business within existing clients while identifying and closing new opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with regional market intelligence and company objectives.
- Full Sales Cycle & Contract Management:
- Lead the entire sales process from initial offer development and negotiations through to order execution, claims management, and collection support.
- Oversee contract establishment, maintenance, sales order initiation, and purchase order acknowledgments.
- Forecasting, Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue and volume targets.
- Monitor performance metrics, establish KPIs, and provide reporting and customer feedback to internal leadership.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with Sales, Business Coordination, and cross‑functional teams to exceed client expectations.
- Lead customer negotiations, present final offers, and ensure alignment with internal standards and compliance requirements.
- Product & Market Expertise:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company’s Line Pipe and Coating product portfolio to proactively address client needs.
- Uphold company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance in all commercial activities.
To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
- Education & Experience:
- Post‑secondary degree in Engineering, Business, or a related Trades program.
- 2–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a similar commercial role.
- Technical
Skills:- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP is considered an asset.
- Strong aptitude for learning and navigating internal systems and technologies.
- Key
Competencies:- Proven ability to manage negotiations, forecasting, and contract administration effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized with structured problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to make sound decisions under pressure and in time‑sensitive situations.
- Collaborative mindset with flexibility to work across cross‑functional teams.
- Motivated self‑starter with a proactive, client‑focused approach.
