Reporting to the Director, Inventory Management, the Supply Chain Business Analyst provides analytical, forecasting, reporting, and process‑optimization support across the supply chain organization. This role focuses on developing insights, improving systems and processes, and supporting data‑driven decisions that enhance inventory performance, forecasting accuracy, operational efficiency, and the overall customer experience.
What you will do:- Develop, enhance, and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking tools to monitor supply chain performance
- Analyze supply chain data across forecasting, inventory, procurement, and logistics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Conduct root‑cause analyses on service failures, forecast variances, and inventory challenges
- Support the development of data governance standards and ensure data integrity across systems
- Support demand planning cycles through trend analysis, modeling, and scenario planning
- Evaluate forecast accuracy and partner with teams to improve inputs and assumptions
- Collaborate with Sales and Inventory teams to align demand forecasts with budgets and category growth plans
- Assess end‑to‑end supply chain processes and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and standardization
- Support ERP enhancements, functional improvements, and system implementation projects
- Prepare business cases, cost‑benefit analyses, and operational assessments to drive continuous improvement
- Act as the central strategic bridge, connecting the dots between Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Logistics to ensure a unified strategy and a seamless customer experience.
- Work closely with Inventory, Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and Sales teams to support strategic and operational initiatives
- Participate in supplier and logistics partner performance reviews by providing analytical insights
- Support issue resolution related to supply disruptions, service delays, or data inconsistencies
- Assist in inventory investment planning, demand/supply balancing, and capacity assessments
- Provide analytical support for annual budgeting and long‑range planning
- Support compliance with supply chain regulatory requirements (import/export, sustainability, documentation
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent post‑secondary education in Supply Chain, Business, Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain analytics, business analysis, or a similar analytical supply chain function
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience using data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with ERP systems and supply chain planning tools
- Certifications:
SCMP, CPIM, CSCP, or other relevant designations considered an asset

ROBINSON values your experience and recognizes the contributions you make to the success of our business. Your starting pay will be based on the skills and experience you bring to the role. In BC, employees in this position can expect to earn $65,000 to $80,000 per year, with opportunities to earn more as you grow and develop with us. Your salary will be supplemented with monthly bonus opportunities, annual profit share, wellness days, RRSP program and a generous benefits package.
