We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to wear multiple hats as part of a small team.
OverviewThe position is ideal for a positive, motivated and passionate person looking to expand their prior knowledge in the Consumer Packaged Goods world and gain some autonomy. It is perfect for someone eager and experienced in sales, logistics, financial tasks, admin, operations and business development while working in a fast-paced, growing beverage company.
You will work closely with the owner to support day-to-day business operations across all areas of the business.
We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, personable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn multiple sides of a small business and help it expand.
We are a small, lean team. You may be asked to do everything and anything to help support the business and have the ability to shift focus if a new priority comes in, while seeing tasks to their end.
Key responsibilities:Operations Support
- Assist with order fulfillment and inventory management
- Help coordinate logistics (events and product placement)
- Maintain accurate records
- Assist in creating SOP's and developing company processes
- Create and maintain financial forecast models
- Support, research and prepare small business Grants with funding opportunities
- Assist with basic bookkeeping such as expense tracking, organization, and reporting.
- Represent the brand at Farmer's Markets, Holiday Markets, Trade Shows, events and tastings
- Engage Customers and drive sales
- Assist with retailer outreach and account support
- Contribute ideas and support all areas of the business
- Research new opportunities for growth
- Jump in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly
- Graduate (Business, Finance, Hospitality or related field)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Loves to hustle
- Excels at organization
- knowledge and experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry (beverage specific is a huge asset)
- Comfortable engaging with customers and representing brand
- A problem solver who takes initiative and is able to communicate their ideas
- Organized, driven, detail-oriented, solution-seeking, creative and have the ability to multi-task
- Familiarity with Hub Spot, Excel and AI tools
- Interest in the Beverage industry, sales or small business operations
- Great at setting up systems and creating spreadsheets
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- 4 day work-week, partial in office
- Hands on experience in sales, operations and small business management
