Director of Sales and Marketing

- Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to drive contracted corporate retreats, executive meetings, and group business
- Cultivate strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and key industry partners to generate new business opportunities
- Proactively identify and pursue new revenue channels while maintaining and expanding existing accounts
- Lead the sales process from prospecting and proposal development through negotiation and contract execution
- Collaborate with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution of group events, retreats, and special programs
- Partner with ownership and leadership to support the overall revenue strategy, including rate positioning, yield management, and market segmentation
- Monitor performance metrics including ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy trends to inform sales strategy and maximize revenue opportunities
- Represent the property within the local and regional marketplace through networking, industry events, and strategic partnerships
- Support marketing initiatives that reinforce the resort’s brand identity and luxury positioning
- Maintain accurate reporting, forecasting, and account management within CRM and sales systems
- Luxury hotel or boutique resort sales experience, ideally within group, corporate retreat, or event-driven environments
- Proven track record of securing contracted business and developing high-value corporate relationships
- Strong understanding of hotel revenue metrics including ADR, RevPAR, and yield strategy
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with a polished and professional client-facing presence
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to client engagement and event coordination
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with ownership, operations, and cross-functional teams
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple sales pipelines and client relationships simultaneously
- Passion for hospitality and delivering memorable luxury guest experiences
