This role is not a traditional sales job.
We are looking for someone who can build relationships in new ecosystems, uncover pain points, and create real partnership outcomes. You will be the person who opens doors, builds trust, educates decision makers, and turns conversations into long term partnerships.
You will operate in a fast moving startup environment where creativity, ownership, and execution matter.
Role Overview
As the Head of Growth, you will own the full relationship cycle with commercial real estate partners, property managers, and adjacent stakeholders.
Your mandate is simple: build a portfolio of high quality building partners and grow it through strong relationships, smart deal making, and creative partnership strategies.
You will identify where Cubbi is a solution, help partners understand the value, and collaborate closely with onboarding and operations teams to ensure a smooth rollout and long term success.
This is a role for someone who can build trust, navigate ambiguity, and create momentum through relationships.
What You’ll Do
Relationship Building & Partnership Development
Build strong relationships with commercial real estate owners, operators, and property managers
Develop a deep understanding of how CRE groups operate and what drives decision making
Build trust through consistent communication, responsiveness, and real value delivery
Represent Cubbi professionally in meetings, networking events, and partner conversations
Discovery & Problem Solving
Identify pain points in building operations, tenant experience, food service, and engagement
Ask the right questions and uncover what matters most to stakeholders
Position Cubbi as a practical solution tied to outcomes, not just features
Work with internal teams to shape proposals that actually solve partner problems
Education & Consultative Selling
Educate prospective clients on Cubbi’s product, features, and benefits
Clearly communicate the business value Cubbi provides to landlords, tenants, and property managers
Lead partner demos, walkthroughs, and solution presentations
Guide prospects through the decision process with confidence and clarity
Portfolio Ownership & Growth Targets
Own a portfolio of building partners and ensure strong relationship health over time
Drive growth through renewals, expansion opportunities, and stronger building performance
Hit key performance targets tied to partner outcomes, adoption, and expansion
Stay accountable to measurable results, not just activity
Cross Functional Collaboration
Work closely with onboarding and operations teams to ensure smooth launches
Bring partner feedback back to the team to improve onboarding, messaging, and product execution
Help ensure partners feel supported post launch and continue to see value
Startup Execution & Creative Growth
Operate comfortably in a fast moving startup environment with limited structure
Think beyond a traditional funnel and find creative ways to build momentum
Build partnerships through adjacent channels like brokers, tenant groups, local networks, vendors, and community leaders
Focus on strategies that create real outcomes, not fluff or busywork

Must Haves
Strong relationship building skills and the ability to build trust quickly
Confidence speaking with executives, operators, and property managers
Experience in sales, partnerships, account management, or business development
Ability to identify pain points and sell solutions consultatively
Strong communication skills (clear, direct, persuasive)
Self starter mentality with high follow through
Comfortable working without a perfect playbook
Ability to manage multiple conversations and deals at once
