On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Senior Business Analyst for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Calgary or Edmonton office.

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support focusing on technology implementation projects that integrate legacy systems with cloud applications. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective solutions, enhancing data workflows, and improving reporting functions.

Senior Business Analyst - Responsibilities:

• Support technology implementation projects integrating legacy systems with cloud applications

• Understand and document business goals, objectives, and requirements with subject matter experts

• Identify and document current state business processes and organizational structure

• Collaborate with IT to document non-functional technical and operational requirements

• Work with business and third-party experts to document future state operating models and requirements

• Validate proposed technical solutions against business requirements

• Define and document business use cases and capture functional requirements

• Facilitate User Acceptance Testing and ensure alignment with business functional requirements

• Communicate findings and solutions effectively to non-technical stakeholders

• Provide documentation, training, and support to end-users

Senior Business Analyst - Mandatory

Skills:



• 7+ years as a Business Analyst supporting multiple initiatives

• Strong Excel skills

• Strong consultation, collaboration, and facilitation skills

• Experience with ERP implementations, such as Maximo or Oracle

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to negotiate scope with multiple stakeholder groups

Senior Business Analyst – Nice-to-Have

Skills:



• CBAP certification

• Experience in a regulated environment as a Business Analyst

• Experience with JIRA for managing requirements

• Experience with Test Case & script creation

• Experience with Power BI and dashboard development

Senior Business Analyst – Assignment Length:
This is a 1-year contract with potential for extension.
