Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of almost 19,000 residential apartments in four provinces across Canada.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Review turnover inspections, prepare renovation budgets, and send for approvalAssign projects to contractors and issue purchase orders based on approved budgetsCoordinate with Regional Managers to ensure timely completion of turnoversSource and compare quotes from multiple vendors or contractorsMaintain and order inventory supplies in bulk when neededProvide daily, weekly, and seasonal updates or reminders (e.g., boiler operations)Process invoices, purchase orders, and ensure timely vendor paymentsHandle P2P corrections to avoid payment delaysApprove purchase orders regularly and ensure accuracySubmit and organize inventory sheets from the warehouse into Excel trackersSupport electronic submission of LOAs, overtime, and other operational documentsJob Requirements
Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Property Management, or related field (an asset)2–3 years of experience in property operations, admin coordination, or maintenance supportProficient in Microsoft Excel; able to manage budgets, inventory, and trackersExperience with purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor coordinationStrong organizational skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlinesGood communication skills; works well with internal teams and contractorsFamiliar with renovation or turnover processes and work order systems (an asset)Knowledge of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes to support payment accuracy (an asset)
