    Mainstreet Equity Corporation is a distinguished real estate company that is publicly traded on Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX). Its business focus is on acquisition & upgrading of residential properties and managing its own portfolio of almost 19,000 residential apartments in four provinces across Canada.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review turnover inspections, prepare renovation budgets, and send for approval
  • Assign projects to contractors and issue purchase orders based on approved budgets
  • Coordinate with Regional Managers to ensure timely completion of turnovers
  • Source and compare quotes from multiple vendors or contractors
  • Maintain and order inventory supplies in bulk when needed
  • Provide daily, weekly, and seasonal updates or reminders (e.g., boiler operations)
  • Process invoices, purchase orders, and ensure timely vendor payments
  • Handle P2P corrections to avoid payment delays
  • Approve purchase orders regularly and ensure accuracy
  • Submit and organize inventory sheets from the warehouse into Excel trackers
  • Support electronic submission of LOAs, overtime, and other operational documents
  • Job Requirements

  • Diploma or certificate in Business Administration, Property Management, or related field (an asset)
  • 2–3 years of experience in property operations, admin coordination, or maintenance support
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; able to manage budgets, inventory, and trackers
  • Experience with purchase orders, invoicing, and vendor coordination
  • Strong organizational skills; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Good communication skills; works well with internal teams and contractors
  • Familiar with renovation or turnover processes and work order systems (an asset)
  • Knowledge of P2P (Procure-to-Pay) processes to support payment accuracy (an asset)
