Engineered Air is one of North America’s largest manufacturers of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, energy recovery, and heat transfer products. Engineered Air’s integrated sales, design, and manufacturing groups enable the company to produce equipment that is tailored to a specific project’s requirements. The Heat Transfer Plant located at 6324 10 Street SE, Calgary, AB T2H 2K7 is seeking a dynamic, results‑oriented individual to fill the role of Receptionist.

Responsibilities
  • Answer and transfer telephone calls to the appropriate individuals.
  • Greet, assist, and direct all visitors to a suitable department.
  • Daily entry of timecard bonus using various software.
  • Complete packing slips for new purchase orders and record them in the management system.
  • Create tracking sheets for new sales orders and record.
  • File purchase orders, packing slips, and other files as required.
  • Maintain and order office supplies as needed.
  • Scan and digitize batches of documents.
  • Create rating labels and tags for outgoing products.
  • Receive hourly plant applications and forward to the appropriate individual.
  • Perform backup for administration roles in the office.
Qualifications / Experience
  • Administration experience in an office setting is preferred.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in handling a busy multi‑line phone system would be an asset.
Skills Required
  • An intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy.
  • Customer service background is an asset.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to accept criticism and handle high‑stress situations calmly and effectively.
