We are seeking an experienced Accountant with 5+ years of hands‑on accounting experience to manage core financial reporting and reconciliation activities. This role is responsible for preparing accurate financial statements, including income statements and profit and loss reports, while ensuring the integrity of financial data across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform full‑cycle account reconciliations, including bank, credit card, and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and analyze income statements, profit and loss statements, and full financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries as required
- Analyze financial results and identify variances, trends, and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Support audits by preparing financial schedules and responding to auditor requests
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA is considered an asset
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
