Accounting Coordinator Job Description
As an Accounting Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity by reconciling general ledgers and supporting corporate reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a large organization with the potential for permanent placement. We value internal promotions and offer training to junior candidates.
Responsibilities- Reconcile general ledgers and maintain proper working paper for review and record keeping.
- Manage and maintain vendor setup, maintenance, and payment details database.
- Receive, code, and process corporate suppliers’ invoices.
- Prepare period-end lead sheets.
- Assist with financial audits.
- Provide accounting support for the Corporate Reporting team.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 2+ years of experience with vendors, reconciliation of general ledger, and month-end processes.
- Proficiency in v-lookups and pivot tables.
- Proficiency in Outlook and Word.
- Experience with large ERP systems such as Oracle and Net Suite.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Oracle/Net Suite is a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Capability to interact professionally with various levels of operations and other departments.
The role is primarily in-office for four days a week, with one day remote. The office is transit accessible, providing convenience for commuting employees.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
