Overview
Our client in the SE industrial area is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to support their Senior Accountant during month‑end and year‑end. This role will also provide backup coverage for AP/AR during vacations. The team is collaborative, energetic, and works in a fast‑paced, open‑concept office.
Responsibilities- Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
- Assist with audit preparation
- Provide AP/AR coverage as needed
- Work closely with the Senior Accountant, Treasury, and Reporting teams
- Assist with accounts payable and receivables as needed
- Ad hoc duties
- 2–3 years of full‑cycle accounting experience
- Experience with Quick Books is an asset
- Some exposure to reporting or financial statements is helpful (CPA students welcome but not required)
- Self‑starter with strong initiative and minimal need for supervision
- Energetic, adaptable, and comfortable in a loud, open office
