AboutThe Role
Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Junior Accountant will be responsible for the tasks assigned so that accurate financial statements are completed in a timely manner.
Responsibilities (but Not Limited To)- Posting invoices
- Reconciling related schedules and processing journal entries
- Processing cheques
- Daily deposits
- Bank reconciliation
- Journal entries
- Internal service invoice posting
- Filing as required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills
- Over time flexibility as required (example: month end)
- At least one year of accounting experience
