Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable Clerk will report to the Controllers. The individual is responsible for providing financial, clerical, and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely and accurate payment of accounts under his or her portfolio. This individual will need to have clear verbal and written communication, impeccable organization, and prioritization abilities.

General Responsibilities:
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Strengthen relationships with clients by communicating with customers regarding past-due accounts
  • Run Billing and Month End Statements
  • Sending invoices to customers on a monthly basis
  • Answering calls from customers
  • Investigate and resolve customer queries
  • Monitoring customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities
Requirements:
  • At least 1 - 2 years of accounts receivable experience
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in accounting an asset
  • ADP/CDK experience an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
