About the Opportunity

• Demonstrate and apply understanding of US tax concepts as they relate to US Personal federal income tax compliance, including US income tax return preparation.
• Experience in the preparation and review of US personal tax returns for clients, including Forms 1040, 1040NR, FBAR (Fin Cen 114) and related schedules and in preparing 5471 and 8621 (PFICs).
• US Corporate income tax knowledge is considered an asset.
• Accountable for engagement planning with senior staff members.
• Provide mentorship to junior tax associates in the team.

About You

• CPA designated or CPA in progress.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant US tax experience.
• US Corporate income tax knowledge is considered an asset.
• Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, interpersonal skills, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Experience in handling IRS disputes, audits, and requests for information is considered an asset.

Salary Range

Up to $100,000/year
