The Assistant Production Manager under the direction of the Sr. Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the shipping, hydrate, and kiln process and personnel at the plant. He/she is accountable for the shipping, hydrate, and kiln operations with responsibility for safety performance, production, preventive maintenance indicators, quality, compliance, for those production-related activities of the plant. The assistant production manager must be an engaged person that can handle the demands of a 24-hour/ 7 days per week operation and continually balance the competing needs of production obligations.
He/she must possess the skills needed to develop and lead a team in a plant/mining environment.
- 4 - 6 years industrial of experience a mining, construction, and/or heavy manufacturing environment in a proven leadership role. Prefer lime/minerals experience in management or supervisory role.
EXPERIENCE:
- 7-10 years industrial lime experience in proven leadership role
