PLUMBING SALES SPECIALIST

Job Description

Our Drain & Plumbing Technicians are an integral part of our business. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your plumbing skills while actively engaging with customers to identify sales opportunities and promote additional plumbing services. Responsibilities
  • Drain Diagnosis and Basic Repairs:
    Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and resolving common drain‑related issues in residential and commercial settings. Learn and perform basic repairs and installations.
  • Sales Support:
    Engage with customers to assess their plumbing needs and provide information about available services. Collaborate with experienced technicians and sales team members to identify potential sales opportunities and provide permanent solutions to plumbing problems.
  • Customer Interaction:
    Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner, addressing their concerns and providing solutions. Actively listen to customer needs, gather information, and assist with scheduling and coordinating service appointments.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, services provided, and work completed. Assist in generating reports on sales activities, customer feedback, and job progress to support business growth strategies.
  • Continuous Learning:
    Take part in training programs and on‑the‑job learning opportunities to enhance your plumbing knowledge and skills. Stay updated on plumbing industry trends, technologies, and products.
Requirements
  • Basic Plumbing Knowledge:
    Familiarity with basic plumbing principles. Willingness to learn and develop technical skills under the guidance of experienced technicians.
  • Sales Aptitude:
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with customers. Eagerness to learn sales techniques and assist in promoting plumbing services.
  • Customer Service Focus:
    Friendly and customer‑oriented approach with a desire to provide exceptional service. Ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Time Management and Organization:
    Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple assignments.
  • Valid Driver's License:
    Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record may be required for travel to customer locations.
