Overview
Come join our growing team as a mixed or small animal associate! Treasure Valley Veterinary Services is seeking an exceptional mixed or small animal Veterinarian to join our growing team! The ideal associate should be adaptable, work well as part of a team, and be ready to both learn and teach. While an experienced mixed animal associate is preferred, we have the experience and flexibility to mentor new graduates and a solid place for a small-animal only associate!
About Us:
Treasure Valley Veterinary Services was started in 2017 to meet the needs of the rapidly growing greater Treasure Valley region. We are a progressive, true mixed animal practice based in southwestern Idaho. Although we primarily provide routine small and large animal services, the diversity of our practice has developed as we expand to match the interests of those we employ. We encourage associates to be both self-starting and passionate about their clients and the services they provide.
Therefore, we prioritize supporting development of new skills that allow our associates to accomplish their professional goals. Our large practice area provides the opportunity for our associates to stay busy despite the seasonality of some aspects of veterinary medicine. We also strive to use the slower seasons to develop new areas of practice and to add value to our customer base.
Our brand-new modernized small animal facility is located in Caldwell, Idaho and is equipped with brand new anesthesia and monitoring equipment, 2-table surgical suite, digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house Idexx laboratory equipment, full dental suite including dental radiograph and Midmark dental unit, in-house pharmacy, and separate canine/feline wards. Our mobile veterinarians are equipped with fully stocked pickups to provide robust field work.
Our team currently consists of 3 mixed animal and 3 mobile large animal Veterinarians each bringing a wide range of skills and experience if mentorship is needed. Associate Veterinarians are encouraged to develop their own professional interests through support from the business. Those with a small animal focus are encouraged to apply and will be provided ample training opportunities to develop skills in routine large animal practice if desired.
