Job SummaryThe Retail Facilities Manager is responsible for recurring and demand maintenance as well as programmatic work for a portfolio of stores, ensuring stores are safe and well maintained while meeting cost, quality, and schedule targets. Responsible for diagnosing and resolving challenging store maintenance issues. Adheres to Store Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) including travel to each Region at least 4x/year to evaluate condition of assets and ensure that store is maintained to brand standards.
Manages and influences 3rd party maintenance service provider relationships. Uses exceptional customer service skills to educate, build trust and create partnerships with store leadership, brand field leadership, vendor staff and leadership, brand HQ teams, business partners, peers and department leadership.
- Diagnose complex problems and projects, communicating with appropriate parties and driving issues to resolution/completion
- Analyze data and recommend solutions, procedures, and process improvements
- Responsible for execution and establishment of store specific projects against schedule, budget, and scope
- Ability to establish strong relationships with customers, business partners and vendors, conveying a sense of urgency and awareness to fiscal impact
- Responsible for following up with field teams, vendors, business partners to ensure problems are resolved in a timely manner
- Responsible for educating field team on Facilities best practices/CMMS platform to maximize efficiencies and improve customer service
- Proactively escalates and communicates critical issues to Sr. Manager and relevant business partners
- Ability to understand department and store priorities
- Demonstrates ability to support our customers and employes with appropriate professionalism and confidentiality
- Perform routine and documented inspections stores assigned, review results with store manager and summarize findings with senior management
- Be on call during non-business hours to support store needs
- Responsible for problem/project diagnosis, developing resolution with appropriate Business Partner as needed based on severity and complexity
- Ensure vendors are given appropriate authorization to perform work in accordance with policies and procedures
- Resolve scheduling or other conflicts between stores and vendors
- Resolve store complaints to completion including follow up communication.
- Develop and execute action plans to respond to emergencies situations.
- Work collectively with Real Estate to address Landlord repair items in a timely manner
- Monitor, track, and evaluate the work performance of all vendors to ensure they perform according to the contracted standards, due dates, and cost restraints
- Provide onboarding support, mentorship, and development for Facilities Coordinators/Specialists
- Drive results by providing strategic directing and leadership to internal and external business partners
- Ability to appropriately communicate and otherwise handle controversial and sensitive business information
- Contribute to the development of team goals
- Budgetary responsibilities including expense control and essential contributor to budget development

8 - Comments: 5 Years of Facilities/Construction/Operations &/or Retail management experience. Service industry experience (Retail preferred).
- Financial analysis experience is a plus
- Proven experience in facilities outsourcing
- Ability to set priorities effectively
