Autism Support Technician (Behavior Technician)

A dynamic individual is needed to join our team as a Behavior Technician at Holding Hands Inc., located in Calabasas, CA.

• Location:
  
  Calabasas, CA. Clients can be located at our clinics, clients’ homes, or other community locations within 20 miles or 30 minutes of your home.
• Schedule:
  
  Part‑time, 15‑25+ hours per week. Block Schedule Options:
  • Monday‑Friday 3 pm‑8 pm
  • Monday‑Friday 3 pm‑6 pm
  • Monday‑Friday 5 pm‑8 pm
  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday 3 pm‑8 pm

$22–$28 per hour depending on experience and education.

• Use Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to support children and teens with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Work one‑on‑one with clients in their home, school, or clinics.
• Help clients learn new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
• Follow personalized therapy plans created by our clinical team.
• Use play, routines, and activities to facilitate learning.
• Track progress by taking notes and recording behaviors.
• Encourage independence and build everyday life skills.
• Celebrate progress and create a positive learning environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to lift at least 10 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and active auto insurance.
• Comfortable commuting 20 miles or 30 minutes to client sessions.
• Passion for working with children, youth, and young adults with developmental disabilities.

• Associate or bachelor’s degree.
• ABA experience or RBT certification.
• CPR certification (pediatrics and adults).
• Experience managing a variety of maladaptive behaviors.

• Technology: iPad provided.
